    Sugar Ray Leonard was named after the singing legend Ray Charles and nicknamed "Sugar" by one of his coaches. Leonard is considered to be one of the best boxers of all time, winning world titles in more then one weight class and sparring with champions Wilfred Benitez, Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran and Marvin Hagler. He also starred in the NBC reality TV show The Contender.
