  • Sugar Ray is a California-based rock band led by frontman Mark McGrath. In their early years, they stuck to a funk-metal style that was uncharacteristic of the hits they would later be well known for. But with their second album, 1997's Floored, they found their first major hit with the song "Fly." It would not be their last; Sugar Ray had more hits on their hands with songs like "Every Morning," "Someday," and "When It's Over."

Singer Mark McGrath became a host for the TV show Extra, but Sugar Ray continues to tour and record. They have sold over 5 million albums in the United States.
