One of the four Bowl Championship Series college bowl games, the Sugar Bowl is played in New Orleans' Louisiana Superdome each January, at the end of the college football season. The Sugar Bowl also hosts the champion of the Southeastern Conference, unless that team plays in the BCS Championship Game.
