Subaru Forester

The Subaru Forester is an all-wheel-drive crossover SUV, first introduced in 1997.

While the original model was a version of the Subaru Legacy wagon with increased ground clearance, the Subaru Forester developed into a genuine mid-size SUV with its 2009 redesign.

1. 1996: Won the 24-hour endurance challenge world record (average speed 111.898 mph)

4. 2006: 1,000,000th unit produced
