• Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was a dramatic television series created by Aaron Sorkin that starred Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet and Steven Weber. It aired on NBC for one season between September 18, 2006 and June 28, 2007.

  Studio 60 is about the inner workings and politics involved with making a sketch comedy show similar to Saturday Night Live. Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford play executive producers, Matt Albie and Danny Tripp, who take over the sketch comedy show at the beginning of the series. Danny is just getting over a drug problem, and Matt is hesitant to rejoin the show because of his previous relationship with its leading cast member, Harriet Hayes (played by Sarah Paulson). Matt and Danny are not the only new hires at the studio... Jordan McDeere (played by Amanda Peet) steps in as president of the studio (which is called NBS) and is constantly butting heads with her boss, Jack Rudolph (Steven Weber).
