Student films have launched the careers of several members of the entertainment industry. Classic film directors Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Martin Scorsese were film students that exhibited their student films before they became famous. There are Academy Awards given out to best short film, best short documentary and best short animated film.

Got 2 auditions in L.A. for good roles in student films. One on Wednesday and one on Thursday.
