    Soldier Field serves as a monument to soldiers who have died in wars. It opened on October 9, 1924. Originally named Municipal Grant Park Stadium, the name was changed to Soldier Field on November 11, 1925.

    It has been the home field of the Chicago Bears since 1971. It is currently listed as the smallest stadium used in the NFL with a maximum seating capacity of 61,500.
