  • On June 13, 2008, The New York Times reported that Saudi Arabia will increase its output of oil in July of 2008 by nearly a half-million barrels per day. In June, Saudi Arabia pumped 9.45 million barrels a day.   • Summit in Jeddah

    Saudi Arabia will host a summit in Jeddah on June 22, 2008 for oil consumers and producers to discuss the soaring gas prices.
