  • Plot

The movie evolves around Tom Ludlow (played by Keanu Reeves), a corrupt Los Angeles Police Officer. Every police officer in his unit is corrupted, even the captain Jack Wander (played by Forest Whitaker), breaking rules right and left just to cover up things that could incriminate them. Terrence Washington (played by Terry Crews), an ex-partner of Ludlow no longer wants to be a corrupted cop. Washington goes to Internal Affairs Captain Biggs (played by Hugh Laurie) and reports all of his misdoings to him. Biggs takes action and starts a full investigation against Ludlow. Because Washington ratted him out, Ludlow tracks him down to a convenience so that he could personally confront him. Before this could happen and without warning, Washington gets murdered in a professional like hit and Ludlow is there at the crime scene in a old-fashioned "wrong place, wrong time" scenario.
