Street Fighter IV is the first main series release from Street Fighter since 1999. The story is set between Street Fighter II and Street Fighter III. There are 25 playable characters in Street Fighter IV, four of them complete newcomers to the series.
The console versions of the game feature six exclusive characters, as well as gameplay modes and elements not included in the arcade game. The game has traditional Training and Versus modes, as well as a Challenge mode. Each character in Street Fighter IV has an Ultra combo attack, which can be launched once the Revenge Gauge is 50% full.
Ultra Combos
A green Revenge Gauge is located at the bottom of the screen, next to the Super Gauge. Whenever a character gets hit, his Revenge Gauge fills a little bit. When the Gauge reaches 50%, it turns yellow and the Ultra Combo indicator beside it will burst into flames. At this time, a powerful Ultra combo can be launched against opponents. Strategic players will time the use of their Ultra combo carefully. The more full the Revenge Gauge is, the more damage the Ultra combo will inflict. Some Ultra combos can almost knock out an opponent if the Gauge is completely filled. Ultra Combos differ from Super Combos because they cannot be used at the end of a chain or link combo. Some characters, however, can use their Ultra combo at the end of combos that launch opponents into the air.

Street Fighter 4 Ultra Combos with Tutorial
This video is a step by step tutorial of Street Fighter 4 ultra combos. The narrator teaches us how to use the controller to accomplish specific moves with specific characters. As the game progresses the levels intensify and certain moves require alternations and synchronization. Once these moves are learned, they can be replicated on different characters as some have similar fighting techniques.
