Sakura is one of the 25 playable characters in Street Fighter IV, the action game developed by Capcom for multiple platforms.
About Sakura
Sakura first appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 2. She is a 16-year old Japanese schoolgirl who is fascinated with Ryu. She has observed and assimilated some of his techniques, and follows him around the world in the hopes that he will train her. Ryu, however, turned her down, stating that he himself has much to learn and cannot take on a student. Many of Sakura's are "mini" versions of Ryu's moves. For example, her Hadouken fireball attack does not fly across the entire arena as Ryu's do, and her attacks are generally weaker. Sakura makes up for this with speed, long-reaching uppercuts and a number of agile kick combos.Street Fighter Wiki: Sakura Kotaku: Japanese Schoolgirl Sakura Joins Street Fighter IV Fight!
