Street Fighter 4 is the newest Street Fighter game, and returns the series to its roots with a fighting system inspired by Street Fighter II. There are plenty of new features, however, including the new Focus Attack and Revenge systems and some new characters.

In Street Fighter, Super Moves are special techniques that require you to fill a meter and use a special command to use. Supers are flashy, powerful and can turn the tide of the match. There have been various types of Super Move systems in Street Fighter, and in Street Fighter 4 there are two: the Super gauge and the Revenge gauge. The Super builds up as you land attacks. Once you've filled it up, you can use it to perform a Super Combo. This is the same system that's been in place since Super Street Fighter 2.

The Revenge gauge is entirely new to the series. It builds as you take damage, and is used to perform a powerful Ultra Combo.
