Street Art

- Street Art is generally not representational of territorial marking, as some graffiti is.
- Styles include stencil art, poster art, sticker art or more traditional spray paint art.
- A counter-movement has emerged in parts of New York, denouncing perceived commercialism in street art by splashing paint over existing work.

Street Art is any art created or displayed in public places, such as sides of buildings, sidewalks, lampposts, and streets.
