The Streamy Awards honor shows made specifically for the web. The ceremony was broadcast online live on March 28, 2009 at 7:30 pm from the Wadsworth Theater in Westwood, California. The awards are decided by the International Academy of Web Television, a group that includes bloggers, online personalities, directors, composers and entertainment and technology executives.
