Straylight Run is an Indie Rock band from Long Island, New York that formed after songwriter John Nolan left his previous band Taking Back Sunday to form his own group. The band's second album, The Needles The Space, was released on June 19, 2007.
Career
Straylight Run was formed in 2003 and gained popularity by releasing six demos on their official site. The band soon started playing to sold out crowds and released their debut album Straylight Run in 2004 with Victory Records. The album soon made the Billboard top 100 list.
Straylight Run released their second album with Universal Records in June of 2007. They also made the full album available on their official MySpace page. Universal Records dropped Straylight Run in December of 2007.
