    After being drafted by the Rams in 2004, Steven Jackson rushed for 673 yards and four touchdowns as a backup to Marshall Faulk. The following season in 2005, Jackson was named the starting running back and rushed for 1,046 yards and eight touchdowns. Jackson was even better during the 2006 season, gaining 1,528 yards rushing with 13 touchdowns. He also caught 90 passes for 806 yards and three touchdowns.
