Steve Winwood

A major success as a teenager, British-born singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Steve Winwood has one of the more impressive back catalogs in the music industry to his name. Over the course a career that began in the mid-Sixties when he was 15, Winwood has fronted such legendary rock outfits as The Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, and Blind Faith. He's also enjoyed a highly successful solo career highlighted by 1986's Back in the High Life, which featured four huge hits including "Higher Love" and the title track.
