Steve Nash's Pro Career
After a successful four year stay in college Nash entered the 1996 NBA Draft and was chosen as the 15th pick in the first round by the Suns. During his first two years with the Suns, Nash just displayed flashes of brilliance and his inexperience in the court limited his playing time. But when he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks, the then obscure and naïve Nash begins to show great improvements. Nash game gradually flourished, and like a diamond in the rough, the once bench warmer from Canada became a formidable and elite point guard in the league. Moreover, he spearheads the Maverick’s triumvirate that also includes Dirk Nowitzki and Michael Finley to the franchise’s first appearance in the finals of the 2004 Western Conference. The same year, Nash became a free agent and his former team Suns welcomes him again on its fold. http://www.google.com.ph/#hl=tl&q=steve+nash+bio&aq=f&aqi=g2&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=7ff56711e666c364
Nash spearheads the high-octane offense of the Suns and with him doing the solid play making chores the team appeared in the NBA playoffs from 2004 to 2010. Nash led the fast-paced Suns to the 2005 Western Conference Finals and was elected as the NBA Most Valuable Player becoming only the sixth guard in the league to reach that echelon.. His ascend to top was apparent and unstoppable as he was also elected to the NBA All Star Game and All-NBA Team in the NBA 2004 – 2005.
One year later, he bagged his second straight MVP trophy but Dallas Maverick’s Dirk Nowittzki, broke the dominance of Nash by nailing the MVP award in 2006. Although not named the MVP in 2006 Nash eked out a very prestigious recognition by being chosen as the ninth best point guard of all- in the NBA by ESPN.http://www.google.com.ph/#hl=tl&q=steve+nash+bio&aq=f&aqi=g2&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=7ff56711e666c364
