  • NHL Career

    Montador entered the NHL by signing as an undrafted free agent with the Calgary Flames on April 10, 2000. He was assigned to the Saint John Flames in the American Hockey League where he played for the majority of his first two professional seasons. The Calgary Flames called Montador up to make his NHL debut in 2001 and made him a full member of their roster in 2002. During the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, Montador played in France for the HC Mulhouse. Shortly after returning from the lockout, the Flames traded Montador to the Florida Panthers, on December 2, 2005. Prior to the 2008 season, he signed as a free agent with the Anaheim Ducks.
