Steve McNair Updates
Steve McNair was a NFL quarterback. He last played for the Baltimore Ravens after spending 11 seasons with the Tennessee Titans organization. He was married to Mechelle McNair.
On July 4, 2009, McNair was found dead in his Nashville home. He had been shot multiple times. Beside him was his girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, with a single gunshot wound to the head. On July 6, 2009, it was reported that the gun used in the shooting was bought by Kazemi two days before McNair's death.http://www.examiner.com/x-2092-Sex-Scandal-Examiners~y2009m7d6-NFL-mistress-bought-gun-two-days-before-McNairs-murder
It was later confirmed that the deaths were a result of a murder-suicide and that Kazemi shot McNair and then herself.http://www.wlbt.com/Global/story.asp?S=10666949&nav=menu119_3,menu119_3
In October, a CBS News investigation revealed that Kazemi knew the man from whom she bought the murder weapon for weeks, contradicting the seller's story told to police investigators.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/20/cbs-news-did-police-botch_n_326750.html
