Steve Martini is an American lawyer, journalist and author.
Career
Originally a Los Angeles newspaper reporter, Martini worked a private practice with CoBen, Cooper and Zilaff in Sacramento, where he appeared in federal and state courts for both criminal and civil cases.
Before writing his bestselling breakthrough, Compelling Evidence, in 1992, Martini had served as an appointed deputy director to the California Office of Administrators, then as counsel for the California Victims of Violent Crimes Program.
In addition to his fiction work, Martini continues to write about law and politics. His twelfth novel, Shadow Of Power, was published in 2008.
