  • Career

    Steve Leialoha was primarily an inker at the start of his career, contributing to the independent comic book series Star*Reach.

    He then freelanced for Marvel Comics on titles like Doctor Strange, Howard the Duck, and Marvel Team-Up. Leialoha was a featured artist for several Spider-Woman comics in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

    For DC Comics, he worked on Batman and Detective Comics. Since 2002, he has colored numerous issues of Fables for DC imprint Vertigo. As of 2008, he continues to contribute to the series.

    Leialoha resides in San Francisco with partner Trina Robbins.
