    Steve Harvey performed stand-up comedy in the 1980s until his breakthrough as a finalist on the Johnnie Walker National Comedy Search in 1990. After hosting It's Showtime at the Apollo for a number of years, Harvey landed his own television situation comedy, The Steve Harvey Show. After the show's cancellation, Harvey's primary outlet for his comedy became a syndicated FM radio morning show, aptly called The Steve Harvey Morning Show, which originates from WBLS in New York City.
