Steve Carell is a comedic actor who took on the role of Michael Scott (the American counterpart of Ricky Gervais' David Brent) on the NBC TV series The Office. Carell has appeared on The Office since it's beginning in 2005. Steve Carell was born on August 16,1962 in Concord, Massachusetts. Carell attended college at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
