Steve Burton is an American voice-over and television actor. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana but was raised in Cleveland, Illinois. His father is a jockey and a real estate manager. His mother is an optician. His parents are divorced. He left his home to visit his father in California but opted to stay on the west coast and try his luck at an acting career which won the full support of his father. He completed high school in Beverly Hills, California.
Career
In 1995, Burton appeared on the cover of PlayGirl magazine but he was not photographed in the nude. He did some modeling and then tried his luck on television. His television debut was as a regular on the series Out of This World. In 1998, he got the role of Harris Michaels on NBCs Days of Our Lives. He joined the cast of General Hospital three years later and plays the role of Jason Quartermaine. Jason was in a driving accident due to a drunk driver and got amnesia and changed his last name to Morgan since he could not remember his family. Steve Burton has been on General Hospital for a total of seventeen years.

Steve Burton is a huge fan favorite and a gifted actor who has won many Soap Opera Digest Awards including Outstanding Supporting Actor. He has also done well in films and wants to one day produce and direct. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
