Canadian professional hockey player Steve Bernier plays for the Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League.

NHL Career
Bernier was drafted 16th overall in the 2003 NHL Draft by the San Jose Sharks. He continued to play for the Moncton Wildcats in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for two years after the draft. Bernier joined the Sharks in the 2005-06 season for his NHL debut. He split his first season between the Sharks and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Cleveland Barons. On February 26, 2008, Bernier was traded to the Buffalo Sabres.Timeline
