Canadian professional hockey player Stephen Weiss plays for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League.

NHL Career
Weiss was drafted fourth overall in the 2001 NHL Draft by the Florida Panthers. He joined the Panthers for seven games of the 2001-02 regular season. During the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, Weiss played in the American Hockey League, for the San Antonio Rampage and the Chicago Wolves. He returned to the Panthers in 2005 to re-sign as a restricted free agent. Weiss renewed his contract with the Panthers on August 23, 2007, to stay with the team for an additional six years.-
