Stephen Stills

Categories: Entertainment | Music | Classic Rock
  • In the mid-1960s, Stephen Stills formed Buffalo Springfield along with Neil Young in Los Angeles. The band would have one big hit in "For What It's Worth" (written by Stills) before he joined forces with David Crosby of The Byrds and Graham Nash of The Hollies to form Crosby, Stills & Nash later in the decade (Young would join for their second album). CS&N; would become hugely popular, and the group still tours sporadically to this day.

Stills also started his solo career in the early '70s. One of his biggest solo hits was "Love the One You're With." Stills was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for both CS&N; and Buffalo Springfield.
