Stephen Lagakos was a professor at Harvard University who worked on HIV research. On October 12, 2009, Lagakos was one of four people killed in a traffic accident in rural New Hampshire. According to reports, the 63-year-old Lagakos' SUV struck a car on Route 202 near Peterborough, New Hampshire, and burst into flames.
