Stephen David Royds was arrested on suspician of selling cocaine at the fairgrounds in Newport Beach, California, on March 6, 2008. When police were searching his hotel room, they found a large container containing the body of a woman, fully clothed, wrapped in a sheet, and packed in dry ice. She has been identified as Monique Trepp, but her relationship to Royds is unknown. The autopsy was inconclusive as to cause or time of death, and the investigation is ongoing.
