Perez Hilton reported on March 4, 2009, that Colletti and actress Hayden Panettiere have reconciled following Panettiere's recent break-up with actor Milo Ventimiglia. Laguna Beach
During Colletti's senior year in high school, MTV producers approached him for a role on an up and coming reality show. After he told his "story" to producers, he was then asked if cameras could follow him and his friends around filming. Colletti agreed along with his friends and the resulting drama created what is known as Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.
