Early Life
Stephen Chow Sing-Chi was born in Hong Kong, China on June 22, 1962. He would study performace at the Shaw Brothers Television Broadcasts Limited acting school.Pro Career
Chow's career developed in China as he established himself as a popular comedic actor. He has an extensive resume of chinese television and film performances, but it wasn't until he received international acclaim for his popular comedy Shaolin Soccer. He would follow that up with the critically acclaimed and box office hit Kung Fu Hustle. In 2007, he released the family film CJ7. He is reportedly developing a sequel to Kung Fu Hustle. Chow is noted for his blending of computer generated special effects with marital arts. His films often employ an underdog story and he is also recognized for his broad physical comedy.-
