NHL Career
Veilleux was drafted 93rd overall in the 2001 NHL Draft by the Minnesota Wild. He played one season with their American Hockey League affiliate, the Houston Aeros before making his NHL debut with the Wild in 2002. Veilleux continued with the Aeros during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout and signed a multi-year contract with the Wild when he returned in 2005.-
