Budget Buster?
Prior to the Super Bowl victory, Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl announced that there would be no celebration parade, should the Steelers win. He cited the cost to the city, $45,000 for security and cleanup, for the parade when the Steelers won Super Bowl XL in 2006, calling a Super Bowl XLIII parade a "budget buster." Ravenstahl later changed his mind about the event, saying there will be an appropriate celebration and that he was hesitant to talk about it as he didn't want to be a jinx.WXPI Pittsburgh: Mayor: Idea Of Parade Still Alive For Steelers...
