Whistle and Burn Calories While You Work
The concept behind this product is understanding the growing number of hours people spend at work and at home in front of a computer monitor coupled with the fewer hours of exercise people have time for. With obesity rates climbing in the United States to alarming heights, the Walkstation is one attempt to combat this problem. The set-up of the design allows for the computer and various accessories to be easily accessible for the user, and it runs virtually silent so as not to distract other office workers. Because it only travels at a maximum of 2 MPH, the idea is not to quickly burn calories as a regular treadmill would over say 30-40 minutes of use, but rather to have a cumulative effect over the course of an entire day. -
