Occasionally, Starbucks will offer free coffee to its customers. Free Starbucks coffee orders can be tied to special promotional events, such as the launch of a new product, or they may be available for special events - such as Election Day. In keeping with this tradition, Starbucks plans to offer free brewed coffee to customers on Monday, April 15, 2010. Free coffee will be available to those customers who bring their own reusable travel coffee mugs to any participating Starbucks location. The promotion falls on Tax Day - the deadline day for all federal and state tax returns to be filed - but it is actually part of an effort to promote recycling, by saving paper coffee cups.http://www.starbucks.com/thebigpicture
