General Gameplay Tips
- Take a couple moments on each level to assign points to power, talents and combos in the menu. Try to assign points before each boss battle as well. The menu can be directly accessed by hitting the Back button.
- The Training room is a good place to learn Force abilities early in the game. Access each training mission in the Pause menu and learn how to use each Force ability without any real danger.
- There isn't much of a death penalty beyond restarting at the last checkpoint. All holocrons that have been found are counted despite any death before the next checkpoint. Even boss battles have checkpoints typically marked by brief cut scenes.
- Manage large groups of enemies from far away by tossing canisters with Force Grip. This also works for large, slow-moving enemies like the Rancor or the AT-ST.
- Be ready for a quick action button sequence at all times. Every mini-boss and level boss implements them at the end of the battle. If you mess up the sequence, offer up some slight damage to re-access the sequence.
- Running away from a fight doesn't recharge the apprentice's health, but it does recharge the Force power. If low on health, charge enemies with Force Electricity and back up behind cover to recharge the energy levels.
-
Force Powers
- Force Push: Blasts enemies with a powerful wave of Force energy. It's also used for moving objects and opening locked doors. It's activated with the B button.
- Force Grip: Grabs enemies with Force energy and allows the apprentice to throw them around. RT grasps the highlighted item and LS send them flying in the direction of your choice.
- Force Lightning: Shocks enemies with charged Force energy. It temporarily stuns a target and causes low levels of damage. It's activated with the Y buttons.
- Force Repulse: Sends out a shockwave of Force energy in all directions. It sends enemies and objects flying away. Press LT and B to activate it.
- Force Lightsaber Throw: Throws the lightsaber in a spinning motion toward a target. The saber automatically returns to your hand. Hold the LT button while tapping the X button.
- Force Lightning Shield: Reduces the amount of damage taken by creating a bubble of Force energy around you. Activate it by holding the LT button and pressing the Y button.
-
-
Force Talents
- Fortitude: Increases the maximum health bar of the apprentice. Level this up quickly. It's helpful in the latter stages of the game.
- Force Focus: Increases the maximum Force energy bar of the apprentice. If you like to use lots of Force abilities over the lightsaber, level this talent up early into the game.
- Force Affinity: Increases the speed at which you recover force energy. It's helpful if you like to fire off several force attacks at once.
- Vitality: Increases the amount of health regained by killing enemies. This keeps the health bar full during large group battles.
- Resilience: Reduces the amount of damage taken from enemies. Level this talent up early in the game to keep the apprentice alive longer.
- Battle Meditation: Reduces the amount of time to charge your Force powers. This relates to charging up an attack like Force Push. It's not necessary to pick this talent up until the final stages.
- Saber Mastery: Increases the amount of damage dealt with the lightsaber. If you rely on the saber for the majority of attacks, level this talent up quickly.
- Defense Mastery: Increases the ability to deflect and reflect blaster fire. This can be helpful in providing a low level of defense from stormtroopers, but it's not incredibly useful.
- Combo Mastery: Decreases the amount of Force energy used for Force combos. If you rely on combos to finish off large enemies or bosses, level this talent up around the middle of the game.

Kashyyyk Prologue
- CUTSCENE: A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...The galaxy is on the brink of total darkness. The Galactic Empire has overthrown the Old Republic. The Jedi Knights have been all but destroyed. The Emperor's spies have located a lone Jedi on the Wookie home world. Darth Vader has been sent to destroy him. The scene shifts to large Imperial Cruisers hovering over Kashyyyk. Darth Vader lands his craft on the surface and tosses an Imperial commander to the side before looking for the lone Jedi.
- Take a moment to get acclimated to the control scheme. LS moves the character, A jumps and RS rotates the camera. Move forward along the dirt path and across the bridge.
- YouTube: Introduction Cutscene - Prologue - The Force Unleashed (Time: 3:13)
- Press X to pull out the lightsaber. X also attacks with the saber. RB directs blaster fire back to the original target. Hold LB to block and bring up a few special attacks accessed by the buttons.
- Press B to use Force Push on the Wookies. Hold B to charge up the Force Push attack and break apart the large wooden barrier. Vader can also hold RT when targeting an enemy and throw them in any direction by flicking LS.
- YouTube: Prologue - The Force Unleashed (Time: 8:07)

- Move over the bridge and walk up the ramp on the right. Kill the four Wookies with the force toss and hop on the elevator. Use another charged Force Push to take out the Wookies charging on the bridge.
- Watch a Tie fighter crash through one of the wooden bridges and take the long way around. The Wookies infinitely spawn along the bridge. Just continue moving forward to halt the spawns. Use Force Push to get rid of the pesky Wookies.

- CUTSCENE: The Rogue Jedi appears after Vader reaches ground again. The Jedi tries a mind trick and commands Vader to leave the planet. Vader calls his bluff and the battle begins.
- Start by jumping (A) and press X to drive the lightsaber to the ground. This should knock the Jedi into the air. Start hacking away with the lightsaber.
- If you get into a lightsaber lock, tap X to win. Continue using Force Push and Force Grip over and over. Move in to attack with the lightsaber when the Jedi falls to the ground.
- Occasionally the Jedi tries to pull a Tie Fighter out of the sky and crash it on Vader's head. Just stick #close to the Jedi to avoid taking damage. After the Jedi's health falls to zero, be ready for a quick action button sequence to finish off the Jedi.
- YouTube: The Apprentice - Prologue - The Force Unleashed (Time: 4:15)
- CUTSCENE: Vader tortures the Jedi for information on his master. A small boy approaches and uses the force to steal Vader's saber. The Rogue Jedi is his father. Vader kills the Jedi and protects the boy from Imperial fire. The scene shifts to many years later. The boy has grown up and is now Lord Vader's apprentice. Vader orders him to destroy an outpost at Nar Shaddaa. The apprentice leaves and gets attacked by what looks like Ben Kenobi. It turns out to be a training robot. The apprentice continues on to his ship and spots a female pilot working on his ship. She's the new pilot for his missions. Lord Vader killed the last one.
-

The scene shifts to Coda preparing the troops for the incoming dark Jedi. He's setting up a trap. Coda mentions something about bringing the dark Jedi out of hiding.
- Run through the empty hall and use Force Push to open the door. Kill the two stormtroopers on the walkway with the lightsaber and race to the opposite side to pick up red glowing, Sith holocron at the end of the walkway.
- TIP: Holocrons grant the dark Jedi large amount of power for a limited time. It's basically and unlimited amount of force power.
- Jump to the lower level and start unleashing Force attacks. Kill all the stormtroopers and rebel army soldiers in front of the door. Use Force Grip (RT) to slide the locks on the door in the direction the arrows point.
- YouTube: Hangar & Catwalks - TIE Factory - The Force Unleashed (Time: 9:24)

- HOLOCRON: Exit to the right of the lift and look for a Force Combo Sphere at the end of a large walkway. (5/15)
- Exit on the opposite side of the room and follow the walkway to the left. Kill the militia and stormtroopers with the clutter along the walkway. Double jump over a broken piece of walkway on the left and continue following the path.
- HOLOCRON: When the Militia troopers pop out of a side room, look for 10,000 force points on the right. (6/15)
- Continue along the path and look for a sliding door at the end. Enter the new room and scramble to the middle to locate a Sith holocron. This increases damage temporarily.
- Race around the room and kill the guards. Use LB to charge toward enemy soldiers. Enter the next room and use Force Grip on the crates on the left to kill the Elite Militia along the hallway.
- Race through the halls and kill the packs of militia along the way. Look for another Sith holocron along the perimeter of one room.
- When reaching the dead end, use the force to flip down the slat on the opposite wall. Use force grip to pull the large piping out of the wall and use it to double jump to the exit.
- YouTube: Wing Assembly - TIE Factory - The Force Unleashed (Time: 8:08)
- Take out the AT-AT by jumping up in the air and launching into a flurry of quick attacks. Be ready for a quick action button sequence to finish it off. Race around and kill the remaining Elite Militia with Force attacks. Ride up the Tie Fighter wing elevators and kill the Militia on the walkway as well.
- HOLOCRON: There are two holocrons on the upper level of this room. Hop back on the Tie Fighter wing and ride up to the third level to pick up 20,000 force points. (7/15), (8/15)
- HOLOCRON: Move into the second assembly room and look for two more holocrons on the upper level. You have to use the Force to move spare wing parts to create a path to the 10,000 force points and the Rubat Power Crystal. Use double jump to reach both of them. (9/15), (10/15)
- Fight Militia along the hallway with lightsaber attacks and move to the lift. Ride up and start battling a large group of militia in an assembly line room. Use the red Sith holocron in the middle of the room for an extra boost.

- Remove the power supply in the room with the two Jedi holocrons using Force Grip. Move into the next room and assault the small group of militia.
- HOLOCRON: Similar to the previous room, there is an unmarked room on the left side. Explore it to find 10,000 Force Points. There's also 10,000 more Force points at the end of the large room on the right. (14/15), (15/15)
- Move into the next room and take the lift up.
- The training module is easy to complete. Simply follow the on-screen instructions and use Force Grip to move the object around. LS changes the direction and RS alters the vertical pitch.
-
General Kota
- CUTSCENE: General Rahm Kota, thinking that Darth Vader was going to show up, is surprised that Vader sent the boy to fight him.
- The first portion of the fight is easily handled with Force Push, Force Grip and lightsaber attacks. Knock him down and immediately follow up with several lightsaber swings.
- YouTube: General Kota - TIE Factory - The Force Unleashed (Time: 4:57)
- Watch out when a green ball glows around Kota. He's going into a special attack and cannot be harmed. Avoid the green blasts of energy and wait for him to recover.
- CUTSCENE: Kota uses the Force to rip the entire room off the building and it goes crashing to the surface.
- During the second half of the battle, watch out for the floor when it starts glowing yellow. It's catching on fire from the re-entry into the atmosphere. Stay on the platforms and try to knock down Kota to the burning floor.
- When Kota's life reaches zero, a quick action button finisher pops up. Nail the combo to finish the fight.
- CUTSCENE: Kota senses the boy's future and tries to tell him. The boy hears nothing of it and uses the Force to blast Kota to a nasty death. The scene shifts to the boy returning to Darth Vader. Vader takes Kota's lightsaber as proof and he sends the boy on a new mission to kill Kazdan Paratus, a powerful Jedi on Raxus Prime.

-
Raxus Prime
- The first open area is large and is covered with dangerous lava. You objective is to locate the four electrically charged junk piles and use Force Lightning (Press Y) to send them into the large building.
- Follow the path to the left and use Force Grip to raise the platform out of the lava. Jump on it and use LB to dash in midair if necessary.
- HOLOCRON: The first Jedi holocron is at the first lift. Look underneath the crumbling platform to pick up 10,000 force points. (1/15)
- YouTube: The Junkyard Planet - Raxus Prime - The Force Unleashed (Time: 7:16)
- Continue around the path and kill the Rodian soldiers. Use Force Grip to toss them into the sea of bubbling lava. Continue back to the right side and lift the platforms out of the lava again.
- TIP: Look for skiffs flying in the air filled with troops. These can be taken down with a quick blast of lightning. Blow up 10 of them to complete a secondary objective.
- Run inside the large turbine and kill the small Jawas along the path. They are simply pesky creatures and do little damage to the Sith. Start climbing the giant turbine and run clockwise around the perimeter. The exit is about halfway up.
- HOLOCRON: Continue climbing up inside the turbine to reach a Force Power Sphere. Just keep climbing clockwise until reaching it. It's next to a couple Jawas. (2/15)
- Exit the turbine and run through the piles of garbage. Kill the Rodian soldiers and the Jawas along the path with lightsaber attacks and Force Grip. When you reach the glowing metal slabs, use Force Grip to bend them forward. This protects the apprentice from the hot metal sparks.
- Continue along the path and look for a group of droids ahead. These Space Guardians aren't as tough as they look. Hit them with a blast of electricity and follow up with lightsaber attacks. Look for more skiffs in the area as well.
- YouTube: Junk Valley - Raxus Prime - The Force Unleashed (Time: 5:38)
- HOLOCRON: Look for a cracked metal gate near the area where the skiffs appeared. Use Force Push to open it and collect the Red Lightsaber Crystal. There's also 10,000 Force points in the area. It's above the original entrance to the area. (3/15), (4/15)
- Use Force Grip to lift the large metal piece up. Jump on and wait for glowing electrical space junk to float by. Hit it with a blast of lightning and enter the newly opened room.
- Kill the Rodians inside and hop out of the tube on the opposite side. Dash to blast a couple skiffs on the opposite side and use Force Grip to toss the Guardians into the lava.
- HOLOCRON: Grab 10,000 Force points along the edge of the broken walkway. It's near the skiffs. (5/15)
- Climb the hill to the left of the entrance and kill a couple more guardians with the lightsaber. Use Force Push to open up the exit. Kill the jawas in the hallway with some charged Force Push attacks.
- HOLOCRON: Open up the metal grate at the end of the narrow hallway to find another 10,000 Force points. (6/15)
-
Scavenger Camp
- Jump up and climb the platform to enter the inner portion of the scavenger camp. Kill the Rodians with lightsaber attacks and move across the platforms. Use Force Grip to open the large gate.
- The door shuts behind you and the apprentice is trapped inside the camp. The enemies are scattered very sparsely in this area. Feel free to use Force Grip as much as possible without getting hurt.
- HOLOCRON: Look for a Force Combo Sphere along the wall to the right of the entrance. It's on a small platform. There is a Gold Lightsaber Crystal to the left of the entrance. It's at the end of a long section of bridge. (7/15), (8/15)
- YouTube: Scavenger Camp - Raxus Prime - The Force Unleashed (Time: 8:56)
- TIP: There is a damage increase Sith holocron on the top of the middle platform.
- Look for a small elevator to the right of the main entrance. It's through a cracked portion of the wall. Ride down and kill the Rodians in the area. Look for skiffs to destroy on the opposite side.
- Use Force Grip to move the blue glowing electrical part to the left side. This lowers the force field in the previous room. Kill the Rodians that charge into the area on skiffs.
- HOLOCRON: Look for a Compressed Yellow Lightsaber Crystal underneath the large platform with the electrical switch. There's also a Force Talent Sphere in the area to the left from the platform. It's on the roof off a small hut. (9/15), (10/15)
- Backtrack up the elevator and fight through the new group of Rodians and Jawas. Exit through the previously covered door and enter a large junk room. Watch out for scrap droids that suck out force power.
- HOLOCRON: Look for 10,000 Force points on the right side of the junk room. Double jump to reach it. (11/15)
- Use a blast of electricity to zap the large glowing burner on the left. The Junk Titan appears in the middle of the arena. Dodge his blasts of lava and thrown junk attacks. Blast him with an electrical attack and follow up by throwing a large ball of junk into him. Follow the quick action sequence to finish him off.
- Use Force Grip to move the bridge into place and cross it. Watch out for guardians along the path. Simply toss them into the lava to end the fight quickly.
- HOLOCRON: After pushing some girders out of the way, bend the upcoming metal platforms to form a path to the Sith Robe. (12/15)
- YouTube: Junk Titans - Raxus Prime - The Force Unleashed (Time: 8:52)
- Follow the narrow path and look for more guardians along the path. Kill the force sucking robots first and the guardians second. Level up the electricity force power if you haven't already.
- Continue along the path to fight a second Junk Titan. Use the same strategy a before to defeat him. Bust open the large metal door with Force Push and enter the next room.
- HOLOCRONS: There are three holocrons in plain sight in this room. Simply use double jump to reach 20,000 Force points and the Firkrann Power Crystal. (13/15), (14/15), (15/15)
- TIP: Take a moment to load up new lightsaber crystals or distribute force points. You need them for the upcoming fight. Exit onto the elevator when finished.
-
Kazdan Paratus
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice approaches Kazdan Paratus and calls out his name. Kazdan comes alive and shows off his giant metal body.
- The key to winning this fight is electricity. Zap him with several bolts of electricity and run around until the force meter charges back up. When his health meter falls by a third, get ready to fight a Junk Titan.
- TIP: The Junk Titan is easy if you swap out lightsaber crystals to the one that has a chance of causing an electrical burst. Keep slashing away at the Titan and follow the quick action sequence.
- YouTube: Kazdon Paratus - Raxus Prime - The Force Unleashed (Time: 9:40)
- Junk Titan fights act as save points. If the apprentice dies, you can recharge quickly and start in the middle of the boss battle. Continue blasting the Jedi with electricity until the quick action sequence pops up. Hit the correct buttons to then the fight.
- CUTSCENE: Kazdan mutters something about failing his masters and a giant blast of force energy runs through his body. The apprentice calls for pickup. The scene shifts and the apprentice is seen putting Kazdan's lightsaber back together with his mind. Vader appears and orders the apprentice to go after a member of the Jedi Council named Shaak-ti. The scene shifts again to Shaak-ti in the Felucian jungle. She tells her Jedi apprentice to go wait in the forest while she faces the Sith.
-
Felucia
- Check out the new repelling power for a moment. Hold down LT and press B. Move along the linear path and start fighting the warriors. They shouldn't be much trouble if you upgraded lightsaber damage.
- HOLOCRON: The first holocron on the level is at the first group of enemies. Look on the right to collect 10,000 Force points. (1/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Felucia Part 1/4 (Time: 8:17)
- Continue along the path and enter the large hive. Watch the camera panning to find all the holocrons hiding in the room. There's also a Sith power-up in the center of the room.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up the holocron on the bottom level of the room. Try not to fall in the green pit in the middle. There's another holocron just up the first ramp and a third on a hanging swing at the top of the room. You have to get to the top level to reach it. Each contains 10,000 Force points. (2/15), (3/15), (4/15)
- HOLOCRON: Move to the top level and look for the passage with small mushrooms. Look to the left and start double jumping on platforms to reach the Unstable Red Lightsaber Crystal. (5/15)
- Enter the passage with the small mushrooms. There's a new group of enemies ahead. The shaman is wearing red. Kill the shaman first to weaken the remaining group. Shamans are vulnerable to lightning. Kill the rest with quick lightsaber attacks or Force Grip.
- HOLOCRON: There is 10,000 force points to the right of the first pack of enemies with the red leader. (6/15)
- Move into the next large area and rush the two shamans. Avoid stepping on the gassy pockets on the ground as they explode. Fight the remaining warriors with the lightsaber and Force Repulse.
- HOLOCRON: There is an unmarked path to the left of the two shamans. Look for the Compressed Gold Lightsaber Crystal at the end of the path. (7/15)
- HOLOCRON: Look for a large spike sticking out of the ground near the exit. Use Force Grip to pull it out of the ground and collect 10,000 Force points. (8/15)
- HOLOCRON: Move to the exit of the large area. Look for a stream of light shooting from the top of the cave. There is a Force Combo Sphere hanging in the air in the middle of the narrow passage. (9/15)
- Move along the linear path and kill the large yellow shaman with a quick Force Grip attack. Jump into the large pit.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Felucia Part 2/4 (Time: 9:50)
-
Rancor Pit
- As the Rancor approaches from the right, snag the Sith power-up in the middle of the arena. It's a damage increase power-up. Double jump onto the Rancor's head and start slashing with the saber. It should fall within seconds. Hit the correct quick action button sequence to finish it off.
- TIP: The secondary objective for this level is to kill four rancors.
- HOLOCRON: Snag 10,000 Force points to the left of the pit entrance. (10/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Felucia Part 3/4 (Time: 8:17)
- Follow the narrow path with the long branches and get ready to fight another large shaman. The quickest way to kill the shaman is grabbing the Sith energy power-up behind the shaman and hitting him with electricity bolts. Use Force Repulse when too many enemies get close.
- HOLOCRON: Enter the skinny tunnels and fight more warriors. Use lightsaber attacks in the closed-in spaces. Look for 10,000 more Force points about halfway through in the middle of the tunnel. (11/15)
- The remaining three rancors are all in this one area. Take each one slowly. Try to use Force Grip to throw warriors and plants at the rancor. Never allow the rancor to get within 6 feet of the apprentice.
- TIP: Use LB to zip away from the rancor and surrounding enemies. This is also good for finding time to recharge the health.
- Kill all the rancors and try to hit the quick action button sequences correctly to avoid needless battles. Kill the chieftains and the shamans after all four rancors are dead.
- HOLOCRON: There are four holocrons in this room. Collect two along the right wall, one along the left wall and one in the middle. They contain 20,000 Force points, a Force Talent Sphere and a Force Power Sphere. (12/15), (13/15), (14/15), (15/15)
- Exit the room at the far end and leap into the abyss.
-
Shaak-ti
- CUTSCENE: Shaak-ti is meditating in the ancient abyss. She welcomes the Sith apprentice to battle.
- Watch out for her energy charging attack. A large red ball of energy collects over her head and it blasts towards the apprentice. She also has a slow earth attack, but it's easily dodged by hitting LB.
- Use the jump attack to knock her down and slash away with the lightsaber. Try to position yourself between the Jedi and the gas pockets on the ground. She will run right over them and take damage.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Felucia Part 4/4 (Time: 5:21)
- After her health falls by a third, she jumps down to the lower level. Recharge the health of the apprentice from the warriors that continue to respawn. Use the same strategy and slash away at the Jedi.
- TIP: Avoid the tentacle slams by zipping around the area with LB. Getting hit by one of those tentacles is bad news.
- The ending quick action button sequence is fairly long and a little deceptive. Be ready for anything when the button mashing starts.
- CUTSCENE: Shaak-ti offers the apprentice another path as she begins to fade away. The apprentice says that he will never betray his master. Shaak-ti falls into the pit and likely dies. The apprentice fends off a potential warrior attack and walks away. The scene shifts to the apprentice speaking with Vader. Vader wants him to return to the main ship. The scene shifts again to the apprentice joining Vader. The Emperor walks into the room and Vader stabs the apprentice in the back with his lightsaber. The Emperor orders the death of the apprentice and Vader tosses the kid around the room with the Force. The Emperor cackles as the boy is tossed into space. The scene shifts again and the boy has been revived on the Rogue Shadow ship. Vader tells the boy that all of that was a show for the Emperor's benefit. The apprentice's new mission is to join the rebels and fight as a double agent for the dark side.
-
The Empirical
- Bust out of the containment glass and immediately use Force Grip to raise the power capacitor on the right. This stops the flow of gas into the room and lowers the force field.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Empirical Part 1/2 (Time: 9:56)
- HOLOCRON: The first one can't be missed. Leave through the exit to pick up the Blue Light Saber Crystal. (1/5)
- Exit along the hallway and use a charged Force Push to kill the stormtroopers in the hall. Move into the room with the glass pods and watch out for droids. Use electric blasts to kill the droids and the stormtroopers with the heavy repeaters.
- HOLOCRON: There is a Force Combo Sphere in the glass tubing on the left side of the room. There is a Force Talent Sphere in the door on the lower door. It's opposite the exit. (2/5), (3/5)
- Use Force Push to open the door. Move along the hallway and charge into the room with life pods. Use electricity to blast the Shadow Troopers in the room and wipe them out with the lightsaber.
- TIP: Fulfill the secondary objective by using Force Lightning on the six life pods in the room.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up the Force Power Sphere behind the last life pod on the left. (4/5)
- Use Force Push to open the next door. Kill the stormtroopers in the hall with a charged Force Push.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up the Lorrdian Power Crystal at the end of the hall before opening the next door with Force Push. (5/5)
- Move into the next room and take on the first Purge trooper. This version of the stormtrooper is heavily armored and resilient to lightsaber attacks. Use electricity attacks and jump attacks to kill it.
- Bust open the next room with Force Push. Juno, the pilot, is being imprisoned at the far end of the room. You need to use Force Grip to raise the two power cores at the bottom of the floor.
- TIP: It's possible to achieve grabs on the power cores from the walkway. You can completely avoid fighting the Purge Trooper at the button floor.
- Kill the stormtroopers on the walkway and the upper section after the force field falls. Walk up to Juno to end the level.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Empirical Part 2/2 (Time: 5:39)
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice frees Juno and carries her out of the burning ship. He tells her that he's leaving the Empire behind. The scene shifts and the duo is seen flying in the craft. They decide to fly to Nar Shadaa and search for General Kota. The scene shifts again to Princess Leia being kidnapped by Imperial forces. She's being held to force a political decision. The scene shifts again to the apprentice finding General Coda, blind and drunk in a bar. Stormtroopers charge in to arrest the apprentice.
- Bust out of the containment glass and immediately use Force Grip to raise the power capacitor on the right. This stops the flow of gas into the room and lowers the force field.
-
Cloud City
- TIP: To complete the secondary objective, pick up Imperial troopers with Force Grip and drop them into the Carbonite chamber. This has to be done with 10 troopers to complete the objective. You can also use Carbonite canisters on the outside platform to freeze troopers.
- Move though the bar and kill the first group of stormtroopers. Watch out for the troopers with the lightsaber lance. Hit them with a bolt of electricity and slice them up.
- HOLOCRON: Hop up to the top of the bar and collect the Ruusan Power Crystal. Hop in the Carbonite chamber at the top of the bar briefly to collect the Unstable Gold Light Saber Crystal. (1/5), (2/5)
- Exit the bar and run up the hallway. Kill the troopers along the path with Force Grip. Move up the right side when the path splits in two directions.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Cloud City Part 1/2 (Time: 10:32)
- HOLOCRON: Jump off the right side of the path to pick up 10,000 force points. (3/5)
- Move along the main platform and watch out for the sniper fire. The targeting lasers turn red when the sniper is about to fire. Use LB to race away from the targeting laser.
- HOLOCRON: Move up the first ramp angled upwards and move along the circular to the left. Peer off the walkway over the area that you just crossed. The holocron is hanging in mid-air. Do a double jump and hit LB to pick up the Force Combo Sphere. (4/5)
- Toss all the troopers off the platform with Force Grip. Watch out for the troopers with the jet packs as well. A couple well-timed lightning shocks should take them out.
- HOLOCRON: Move across the circular platform and double jump to the metal pipe above the apprentice. Run to the left and pick up Unstable Yellow Light Saber Crystal. (5/5)
- Continue following the ramp and rushing the snipers as they spawn. Move down the second ramp and start fighting the small armored units powered by two little guys. Blast them with electricity and tear them apart with the lightsaber.
- Eventually the Shadow Trooper appears. This trooper has basic knowledge of the force, but is limited to a few powers. Knock him down and use the lightsaber to slice him up. He's also susceptible to items being thrown at him via Force Grip.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Cloud City Part 2/2 (Time: 5:10)
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice dispatches of the Shadow Trooper and General Kota comments on the futile effort of killing the endless supply of Imperial forces. He also tips off the apprentice of someone in the Galactic Senate that needs help. The scene shifts to the trio flying to Kashyyyk to rescue Princess Leia.
-
Kashyyyk
- HOLOCRON: Turn to the left immediately to pick up the Compressed Blue Light Saber Crystal. Approach the hut afterward. (1/15)
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice approached a hut and feels a dark presence inside. He walks in to find the ghost of his father. His father apologizes for not protecting him and walks away.
- HOLOCRON: After the cutscene, turn around to find Kento's Robe behind the shell of an old tree. (2/15)
- Climb the hill and deal with the Incinerator Troopers. Charge them with the lightsaber or throw objects at them. Continue up the hill to trigger the AT-ST. Use a similar strategy of throwing items with Force Grip and approach it to complete a quick action button sequence.
- HOLOCRON: Look for 10,000 Force Points above a tree stump on the right side of the path. (3/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Kashyyyk Part 1/3 (Time: 9:13)
- Use Force Grip to open the base door. Grab the damage power-up to the left and rush the stormtroopers along the path. Watch out for sniper on the top left hand side.
- HOLOCRON: Double jump to a platform on the left side of the first walkway inside the base to pick up 10,000 Force points. (4/15)
- TIP: The secondary objective is to destroy the two power generators in the communications tower. When the path splits, explore both directions and pull the metal grates off the power cores. Blast the core with electricity.
- There are plenty of troopers in the area. Use the environment and toss the majority of them into oblivion with Force Grip. Watch out for snipers and flying troopers.
- HOLOCRON: Look for 20,000 more Force points along the precarious walkway along the left rock wall and beside a large pipe along the upper walkway. (5/15), (6/15)
- HOLOCRON: There's a Force Combo Sphere between the Comm Tower and the rock wall. It's next to a large pipe. You have to drop from the upper level to reach it. (7/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Kashyyyk Part 2/3 (Time: 9:57)
- Cross to the opposite side of the yard and use Force Grip to rip open the door. Enter the room and charge the troopers hiding behind the force field. Watch out for the shadow trooper entering from the room on the right.
- HOLOCRON: Look to the right of the caged Wookie. There's 10,000 Force points above a small statue. Approach the glowing door afterward.(8/15)
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice approaches Princess Leia. She thinks that he is an assassin sent by the Emperor. He tells her that General Kota sent him. Stubborn as usual, Leia won't leave until the apprentice frees the Wookie slaves on the planet.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Kashyyyk Part 3/3 (Time: 9:22)
-
Wookies
- Move through the hunting grounds and take out the troopers with Force Grip. Watch out for the sniper fire from the tower on the left. Approach the two small, metal Wookie cages and cut them open to free the prisoners.
- HOLOCRON: Double jump into the sniper tower to find a Force Power Sphere. (9/15)
- Move along the path to the left and the free Wookies will help out fighting the troopers. Take out the sniper towers with giant rocks and kill the Shadow Guard trooper with extensive lightsaber combos when he appears.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up 20,000 more Force points in the last Wookie cage near the main door and inside the sniper tower to the left of the main door. (10/15), (11/15)
- Run down the hallway and free the Wookie's caged along the left wall with Force Grip. Use Force Grip to pull out the forcefield power cord as well. Use the objects in the environment to battle the troopers.
- TIP: Allow the Wookies to take on the Purge Troopers. You should keep the trooper at bay with electrical blasts and the Wookie kills the trooper in a few hits.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up a Force Talent Sphere and 10,000 Force points in a couple empty Wookie cages along the left wall. (12/15), (13/15)
- HOLOCRON: Exit back outside and immediately keep to the right wall. Pick up the Purple Light Saber Crystal in the tree. (14/15)
- The key to defeating the skyhook is removing the seven Mooring pins around the building. After the apprentice removes two of them, an AT-ST powered by General Ossik Sturn appears.
- TIP: Avoid touching the Mooring pins until killing all the troopers in the area. Each little section has a sniper trooper, a trooper on a turret and a purge trooper. Use the Wookies to your advantage as well as the debris in the area.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up 10,000 Force points along the wall of the skyhook. (15/15)
- Taking out Ossik Sturn is simple. Fire off several bursts of Force Electricity and retreat. Allow the Force meter to charge up again and repeat the process. There is a quick action button sequence at the end of the battle. Remove the remainder of the Mooring Pins after the battle.
- CUTSCENE: The skyhook is seen exploding and all the Wookies in the area cheer on the apprentice. The apprentice returns to the ship and confronts General Kota about Leia. Kota tells him that Senator Bail Organa (Leia's father) approached him, but the General turned down the mission to rescue Leia. Organa went in search of Shaak-Ti instead and got himself captured on Felucia.
-
Imperial Felucia
- Leap down from the hill and jump into the fight. Take out the stormtroopers first and the warriors second. Use regular lightsaber attacks to kill them.
- HOLOCRON: From the starting point in the level, search along the right side to find an unmarked path. Pick up the Green Light Saber Crystal at the end of it. There's also a Force Talent Sphere in plain sight to the left of the small ship. Double jump off the blue mushroom to get it. (1/15), (2/15)
- Work up the hill and kill the purge troopers in the way. Watch out for the gas pockets on the ground. Allow the troopers and warriors to fight with each other whenever possible.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Felucia Part 1/5 (Time: 10:10)
- HOLOCRON: Before crossing the bridge, look to the right to find a loose tree. Use Force Grip to remove the tree and find 10,000 Force points. (3/15)
- Cross the bridge and use the force field emplacements to your advantage. Hit purge troopers with bolts of electricity and kill the troopers on turrets with Force Grip.
- HOLOCRON: Cross the bridge, but don't drop down yet. Pick up the Compressed Purple Lightsaber Crystal on the right first. (4/15)
- Drop down and fight off some shock troopers. Watch out for the trooper on the turret on the ledge on the right. Move forward to trigger an AT-ST spawn as well. Use electricity blasts to defeat it.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up 10,000 Force points and a Force Power Sphere on the ledge where the trooper was firing his turret. Jump on the ledge to the left and double jump to ledge on the right near the pile of rocks. (5/15), (6/15)
- Charge ahead and drop into the area with the large industrial crane on the right. Clear the left and right sides of trooper first before approaching the crane.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Felucia Part 2/5 (Time: 9:51)
- TIP: The secondary objective for this level is to free the Sarlacc. This is accomplished by using Lightsaber Throw on three chains attached to the cranes around the pit.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up the Vexxtal Power Crystal on the top of the first crane. There's also 10,000 Force points behind the crane. (7/15), (8/15)
- Power up the generator on the crane with a blast of electricity. Hop off and move across the bridge. Approach each crane on the left and right to repeat the process. There is light resistance from stormtroopers.
- HOLOCRON: There is 10,000 force points on top of the left walkway that leads to a crane. (9/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Felucia Part 3/5 (Time: 9:28)
- Enter the lift after powering up all three generators. Organa is somewhere in the belly of the beast.
- HOLOCRON: After leaving the lift, grab 10,000 Force points on the path to the immediate right. (10/15)
- Follow the path and don't worry about the tentacles trying to reach out to the apprentice. Avoid blowing up any of the canisters in the area and watch out for the suction tubing that sucks in soldiers. Proceed to the end of the path.
- HOLOCRON: This is an extremely tough 10,000 Force points to grab, but it's possible. Run toward the holocron, double jump with A, dash with LB and hit B for a small boost at the end of the jump. (11/15)
- Jump into the large mouth at the bottom of the pit and move along the track. Hit the electrical charges in the passage with a blast of electricity. This closes the sucking hatches. Moving into the room with the blowing wind and use the pillars to protect the apprentice.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Felucia Part 4/5 (Time: 8:43)
- HOLOCRON: Pick up 10,000 Force points along the right wall of the wind room. (12/15)
- Move slowly to the opposite end of the wind room and enter the tube. The wind pushes the apprentice back outside onto the planet level. There are some warriors fighting in the distance.
- HOLOCRON: Jump on the nearby mushroom and do the same double jump dash maneuver on the tough holocron in the Sarlaac. Grab the Force Combo Sphere. (13/15)
- Start tossing warriors and troopers at the Rancor. There are also plenty of explosive pods around for the same effect. Clear the area of troopers and move up the sloped rock stairs.
- HOLOCRON: Grab the Unstable Blue Lightsaber Crystal above the stone stairs. Climb up to the second set and double jump backwards to find it. (14/15)
- Kill the two Chieftains by using Force Grip or electricity. Move into the next passage to battle another Rancor. These should be child's play at this point in the game. Use the explosive pods to weaken it and finish it off.
- HOLOCRON: Look for 10,000 more Force points on the left side of the passage near the Rancor. (15/15)
- Exit on the far end of the forest through a small cave.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Felucia Part 5/5 (Time: 8:36)
-
Maris Brood
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice reaches Senator Organa. Unfortunately Maris Brood, the Jedi that turned to the dark side after Shaak-Ti died, and her giant Bull Rancor appears.
- The first portion of the fight is all about the Bull Rancor. Maris is running around causing trouble, but she can be avoided most of the time. Skip the electrical attacks and wait for the Rancor to charge the apprentice. Attack with the lightsaber when it is momentarily stunned. Repeat this over and over until a quick action button sequence ends the Rancor's life.
- After the Rancor is sucked into the pit, the battle with Maris begins. This also acts as a save point in case the apprentice dies. Watch out for her red energy attack after using Force Lightning'.
- TIP: This battle is simple if the apprentice uses Force Repulse when Maris begins to attack. When she is knocked down, move in to slash with the lightsaber. After a few knockdowns, she is susceptible to the quick action button sequence.
- CUTSCENE: Maris Brood makes peace with the apprentice and promises to give up allegiance to the Dark Side. The scene shifts to Organa reuniting with General Kota. They make a plan to organize the rebels and battle the Empire. The apprentice leaves to take secret council with Lord Vader. Vader is aware of his feelings for the crew and warns him against the Light Side. Juno, the pilot, overhears the conversation and is furious with the apprentice for staying Vader's slave. She leaves in a huff after telling him that he has the power to decide the fate of the Rebellion.
-
Imperial Raxus Prime
- HOLOCRON: At the opening of the level, double jump to the upper platform on the right side of the junkyard. Look to the left and do the double jump dash plus B to reach the platform on the left side of the passage. Look for a hatch along the wall to locate the Sigil Power Crystal. (1/15)
- TIP: Go ahead and equip the Sigil crystal. It comes in handy when fighting the droids on this level.
- HOLOCRON: Move along the path and kill the Rodians. Look for a small passage on the left marked by a couple of Jawas. 10,000 Force points are waiting inside. (2/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Raxus Prime Part 1/6 (Time: 10:21)
- Use Force Push to blast open the girders and run up the ramp. Toss the enemies off to the right with Force Grip. Double jump over the broken bridge and take a left over the girders.
- HOLOCRON: Right after crossing the girder, use Force Push to blast open the door directly ahead of the apprentice. Grab the Force Power Sphere. Exit to the right and grab the 10,000 Force points off the ledge. (3/15), (4/15)
- Move through the short tunnel. Jump into a fight between the Rodians and the droids. Use electrical attacks on both of them. Wait to grab the Invincibility Sith power-up until the AT-ST appears. Slash away while the apprentice cannot be harmed.
- HOLOCRON: The Compressed Green Lightsaber Crystal is on the right side from the entrance. Use double jump dash to get it. Grab 10,000 Force points in the small tunnel that the Rodians came running out from. There's another 10,000 points along the path to the left from the entrance. (5/15), (6/15), (7/15)
- HOLOCRON: Grab the final 10,000 points in this area at the exit on the upper level. It's impossible to miss. (8/15)
- Move into the large arena. There are several Sith power-ups in the area. Try to use the invincible power-ups while reaching the snipers and the damage power-ups while fighting the Purge troopers.
- When the AT-ST appears, use electrical attacks on it. There's a useful Unlimited Energy Sith power-up in the hanger. Finish it off with a quick action button sequence.
- HOLOCRON: Snag another 10,000 Force points on the large metal structure to the right of the hanger door. (9/15)
- Move into the hanger and take out the ground level troops. Be careful of the three snipers on the upper walkway. Use the platform on the right side of the hanger to reach them.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up a Force Talent Sphere along the upper walkway. (10/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Raxus Prime Part 2/6 (Time: 10:29)
- CUTSCENE: After getting on the lift, the apprentice is seen using the Force to kill a couple troopers on a drop ship. The apprentice jumps to the drop ship and rides to an opening at the ore facility.
-
Ore Facility
- Use the droids as weapons and throw them at the stormtroopers on the platform. Clear the area and ride up the lift.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Raxus Prime Part 3/6 (Time: 10:12)
- HOLOCRON: At the top of the lift, turn right and grab 10,000 Force points at the end of the platform. (11/15)
- Move into the circular room and make a lap to toss the troopers into the pit or the force field. To complete the secondary objective, double jump to the center tower and blow up the 5 panels to disable the tractor beam.
- HOLOCRON: Snag the Unstable Purple Lightsaber Crystal along the upper path to the right. Move the crates at the dead end and enter the busted wall to collect it. (12/15)
- Open up the force field over the exit by using Force Grip to lift the power generators on the left and right sides of the door. Hop on the lift and ride down a level.
- Kill the troopers outside the door with several Force Electricity bursts and cross to the opposite side. Use Force Grip to spin the locks on either side of the door.
- HOLOCRON: There is a Force Combo Sphere on the left side of the room. The apprentice has to use the double jump, dash, B combo to reach the platform. (13/15)
- HOLOCRON: After unlocking the door, search the left and right hallways for 20,000 more Force points. (14/15), (15/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Raxus Prime Part 4/6 (Time: 10:09)
- Move to the opposite side of the circular room and take out tons of troopers along the path. Hop on the lift.
- Use the droids as weapons and throw them at the stormtroopers on the platform. Clear the area and ride up the lift.
-
Star Destroyer
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice tries to reach the Star Destroyer, but it stopped by Proxy the droid.
- The first half of the fight is simple. Knock down Proxy with Force Repulse and tear into him with the lightsaber. It doesn't matter which form he takes. He's also susceptible to electrical attacks.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Raxus Prime Part 5/6 (Time: 9:33)
- When Proxy shifts into Darth Maul, stay as far away as possible. His spinning saber blades attack is extremely deadly. Use Force Grip to toss Maul around and hit him while he's down. Avoid using any other Force attack.
- Exit to the circular path. The objective is to hit each of the four nodes with a burst of electricity. Don't worry about stopping to fight the troopers. Simply concentrate on the nodes and kill troopers when the apprentice needs health.
- In order to handle the Star Destroyer, you first have to blow up the Tie Fighters with blasts of electricity. Wait until they start flying away and hit them with the Force.
- Controlling the Star Destroyer is simple, but time-consuming. Grab the destroyer with Force Grip and follow the thumb stick instructions on the screen. It takes about 6 rounds to get it down to the ground.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Imperial Raxus Prime Part 6/6 (Time: 1:55)
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice is seen ripping the Star Destroyer out of the sky with the sheer power of the Force. He tries to control the destruction, but ends up diving out of the way at the last moment. Proxy is seen nearly destroyed. The apprentice helps the droid back to the ship.
-
Death Star
- CUTSCENE: The apprentice leads a meeting on a snowy planet with the Rebel Alliance leaders. As Organa declares war on the Emperor, Imperial ships are seen swarming over the planet. Darth Vader bursts into the room and orders that all the leaders be taken prisoner for execution. Vader blasts the apprentice with the Force and the apprentice is seen hanging onto the cliff side. Obi Wan attacks Vader from behind, but it actually turns out to be Proxy. The apprentice drops to safety. The apprentice is picked up by Juno and they decide to go after the Rebel Alliance leaders in the unfinished Death Star. Juno kisses the apprentice goodbye and he makes an amazing leap into the heart of the Death Star.
- The area is crawling with nearly every Imperial enemy imaginable. Expect to face snipers, flying troopers, AT-ST machines and plenty of purge soldiers if you decide to fight. The objective is to get to the middle of the room and use Force Repulse to bust open the floor.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Death Star Part 1/6 (Time: 10:16)
- HOLOCRON: Before leaving the first room, ride up the elevator in the left corner of the room. Grab 10,000 Force points and the Katak Power Crystal on the upper walkway. (1/15), (2/15)
- After busting through the floor, the apprentice drops into a laser firing tunnel. The key to surviving in the tunnels is sticking to the left or right side rooms when the laser fires. Listen for the countdown.
- Move down the hallway when the laser is shut down and blast open the glass lens with Force Push. Crack open a second glass lens and take cover before the laser fires again.
- HOLOCRON: Look for 10,000 Force points at the end of this hallway on the right side of the room. (3/15)
- Continue along the linear path and take out the series of troopers in the left and right tunnels watch out for the turrets on the ground level of the laser tube as well.
- HOLOCRON: Grab 10,000 Force points on top of the nearby laser and you can find an Unstable Green Light Saber Crystal in the same area on another laser. (4/15), (5/15)
- Grab the Sith power-up if needed and use Force Grip to raise the nearby locked door. Enter the new area and kill the Purge Troopers with the crates in the area.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up a Force Talent Sphere in the side room to the right. Continue along the main hallway to find 10,000 Force points in a similar room to the right. (6/15), (7/15)
- Take out the troopers on turrets and move into the next room. Another laser tube is on the left. Wait for the laser to stop before moving into the tube.
- HOLOCRON: There are 10,000 Force points directly across the exit into the tube. (8/15)
- Take a right down the tube and look at the spinning rings. When the laser shuts off, immediately use Force Grip to stop the spinning of one ring. Use RS to lock the ring into place. Repeat this for the other two rings and cross the extended bridge. This has to be accomplished in two sections.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Death Star Part 2/6 (Time: 10:23)
- HOLOCRON: Drop to the area below the first ring to pick up a Force Power Sphere. Grab 10,000 Force points during the jump at the second set of rings. (9/15), (10/15)
-
Convergence Chamber
- After moving past the two sets of spinning rings, the apprentice enters the convergence room. The goal is to drop down to the lower floor level, kill the two AT-ST machines and activate the lifts using Force Grip.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Death Star Part 3/6 (Time: 10:21)
- HOLOCRON: Before dropping down to the floor level, walk out on the long platform to the left of the door. Look for 10,000 Force points in the laser path of the laser underneath the end of the platform. (11/15)
- Ride up the lift to the upper levels. Feel free to skip past most of the troopers. Watch out for the troopers with jet packs though. A couple blasts of electricity should do the trick.
- HOLOCRON: There's 20,000 Force points in a corner of the second floor landing and in a small side room on the third floor. Ride up the lift to the top and jump down to the landings to locate them. (12/15), (13/15)
- HOLOCRON: Ride to the very top of the room and look above the laser between the two blue lifts. Instead of jumping above the laser, jump to the metal support near the holocron. Pick up the Black Lightsaber Crystal. (14/15)
- Time to move towards the exit. Look for a landing in the middle of the room with a Sith holocron and a Jedi holocron on two sides. As soon as the apprentice lands on the platform, several Royal guards come out to greet him.
- Grab the Sith Health drain power-up on the right and start slashing at the group. It doesn't matter if you land blows. The health drain aura should kill all the red guard before it runs out.
- TIP: Kill the black guard by knocking him down with Repulse or Push. Stab him while he's down and wait for the quick action button sequence to pop up.
- HOLOCRON: Pick up the final Jedi holocron of the game on the left side of the left side of the platform. It's a Force Combo Sphere. (15/15)
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Death Star Part 4/6 (Time: 10:12)
- Exit through the room at the far end of the platform.
- After moving past the two sets of spinning rings, the apprentice enters the convergence room. The goal is to drop down to the lower floor level, kill the two AT-ST machines and activate the lifts using Force Grip.
-
Vader
- CUTSCENE: The Emperor is seen passing an execution judgment on the Rebel Alliance members. An alarm goes off in the chamber and a video screen of the apprentice is shown running through the Death Star. The Emperor sends Vader out to kill the boy.
- The first portion of the fight with Vader involves lots of Force usage. Try to hit him with a couple charged Force Push rounds if possible. Knock him down at least once and stab with the saber.
- Vader flees to a second room after his health falls to 75%. Immediately move to the left or right. Use Force Grip to grab a hunk of metal off the wall and toss it at Vader.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Death Star Part 5/6 (Time: 8:40)
- Jump to the middle platform while Vader is stunned and hack away with the saber. Repeat this process a second time to get his health down to the red blinking level.
- When Vader moves to the back of the room, simply use Force attacks to knock him down and slash away. The quick action button sequence is very long, but there's plenty of time to find the right button for each movement.
-
The Choice
- CUTSCENE: Vader's rotting corpse is smoldering on the ground. His helmet has been thrown off. The Emperor Palpatine tells the apprentice to kill Vader and take his place. General Kota makes a futile effort to assassinate the Emperor and is struck by Force Lightning. Organa screams "Help Him!" to the apprentice.
- The apprentice can choose to let Kota die and go after Vader for the Dark Side path. He can also go fight the Emperor to save Kota and ignore Vader for the Light Side path.
- Palpatine has three basic attacks. He fires paralyzing electricity bolts at the apprentice. He uses debris in the area to throw at the boy. He also calls on the Royal Guard to help out.
- The best time to attack Palpatine is after one of his attacks. Follow him around the room and slash into him with the saber. Don't bother using Force attacks besides the occasional bolt of electricity.
- Hide from the debris attacks behind one of the consoles. Regain health from the Royal Guard members. The blue guard members are susceptible to lightning attacks and the red guard members need to be knocked down first.
- Keep attacking Palpatine with the saber and avoid the lightning strikes be simply keeping up with his movements.
- LIGHT SIDE CUTSCENE: The apprentice strikes down the Emperor and gets ready to finish him off. General Kota begs the boy not to kill the Emperor otherwise he will travel back onto the path of the Dark Side. The boy eventually relents. Meanwhile the Emperor regains his strength and blasts Kota with electricity. The boy gets into an electricity lock with the Emperor and yells at the Rebel Alliance leaders to go. They barely make it out of the Death Star and the boy sacrifices himself to save the others. There's a giant explosion in the Emperor's chambers as the ship speeds away. Vader and the Emperor survive, but realize that they have given the Rebel Alliance all the motivation they need to succeed. The scene shifts to the leaders of the Rebel Alliance joining once again on a distant planet. The last shot is Kota comforting Juno over the loss of the apprentice. He tells her that the apprentice had one piece of true hope in his heart and it was Juno.
- Going after Vader is a tougher battle. There are no health power-ups in the area so the apprentice has to be careful with attacks. You will need to use block (LT) frequently.
- YouTube: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed-Death Star Part 6/6 (Time: 8:46)
- Use Force Grip and throw him to the floor. Slide up to him and stab with the saber. Be ready to back up quickly with LB and prepare for his next attack. Force Repulse works well when trying to knock him down.
- TIP: Avoid jumping when around Vader. He automatically uses Force Grip to throw you to the floor. Rely on LB to slide toward him quickly.
- Be ready for an extra long quick action button sequence when Vader's health falls to zero. It's slightly faster than all the previous sequences and somewhat more complex.
- DARK SIDE CUTSCENE: The apprentice is seen taking Darth Vader's saber and slicing through Vader's midsection with both sabers. Vader falls and the apprentice rejoins the Emperor. Kota is seen crawling away from the Emperor near death. The Emperor offers the apprentice Vader's position at his side. The Emperor orders the apprentice to kill Kota and take his rightful place next to the Emperor at a Sith Lord. The apprentice raises his lightsaber over Kota, but hesitates. He decides to take a swing at Palpatine instead. Palpatine blocks the saber and laughs. He tells the boy that he foresaw the betrayal. Palpatine blasts the boy with electricity and uses the Force to bring down the Juno's ship on top of him and the leaders of the Alliance. The final shot shifts to the Emperor bringing the boy back to life similar to the way he revived Vader. The Emperor tells the apprentice that he will serve his bidding for as long as he sees fit.

Achievement Tips
- If you followed the walkthrough, you have completed the majority of the achievements. The only collection quest has been knocked out as well. The only thing left to do is replay the game to rack up the remaining "Kill X number of enemies" achievements. Here are some tips on the remaining achievements:
- Redemption, Revenge: Load up the final level again and choose the opposite path. Kill Vader or Palpatine dependent on the previous playthrough.
- Worst Day-Shift Manager Ever, Bossk: Load up the prologue again and kill the stormtroopers. Move to the area where the Tie Fighter destroys the bridge. Move along the bridge and hang out on the middle. There is an infinite Wookie spawn on the bridge.
- Frenzy, Sith Frenzy, Sith Lord Frenzy: The Wookie bridge provides another great place to get all three of these achievements as quickly as possible. Simply use Force Push on the infinite spawn of Wookies that approaches Vader.
- Skilled, Expert, Legend: Simply replay a level that you have beaten already. The points from the previous playthrough add to the new playthrough. Repeat this until the 600,000 points are made.
- Sith Master: Try to avoid all the subordinate enemies and race through the level. It's possible to skip the majority of the smaller battles and go straight to the boss.
