Star Trek Trailer

The first full trailer of Star Trek XI debuted before the feature Quantum of Solace on November 13, 2008. The film is scheduled to be released in May of 2009, and will be a prequel to the original series Star Trek, featuring the familiar crew of the Enterprise in their youths. Original Series star Leonard Nimoy plays an older version of Spock, joining newcomers Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Simon Pegg as Scotty, Zoe Saldana as Uhura and Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy.First Showing: Star Trek Reveals Galore (October 15, 2008)

A new trailer was released in March of 2009 and was shown theatrically in front of the film The Watchmen.

The trailer opens with a young man in a car driving at high speeds in the desert. Just as the car is about to go over a cliff, the driver jumps out. The trailer reveals that the young man is James T. Kirk. The clip then cuts to an older Kirk riding his motorcycle to a Star Fleet Academy. The trailer then introduces Spock (played by Zacharay Quinto). It shows him saying good-bye to his mother and leaving for duty. Both men then board and serve on the U.S.S. Enterprise. The rest of the trailer shows fight scenes between ships and confrontations between members of the crew.
