Calnus
- While en route to Lemuris, you can trigger some PAs between you and your party members. Talk to them, and craft items that you've collected the recipes for if you have the ingredients.
- You have the option of sleeping through the entire trip, but you'll lose out on the ability to develop your relationships with your party members that way. After you trigger the last PA, you'll arrive at the planet Lemuris.
-
Lemuris, Thalia Plains
- After you exit the ship, fight a few battles to get accustomed to the new enemies, and gain some Fol for upgrading later.
- There are two chests here; one to the north that contains Aquaberries X3;;;, and another east of the town entrance with Aquaberries and Blueberries X2. Enter the village when you're finished.
-
-
Triom Village
- A cutscene is triggered as soon as you enter the village. Watch it, and Lymle will join your party. Once you get outside, head back inside the house to obtain the Demon Amulet - equip it to Lymle, as it boosts her INT by 15 and her DEF by 5.
- There are two chests in the southeast of the village, but you can only open the one by the weapon shop right now; the other is protected by a barrier of ice. Be sure to check out the shops for more IC ingredients and equipment.

- Purchase the Parapsychology and Elusion skill manuals for Lymle. If you've already created the Storm Blade, you won't have any need to change weapons, but go ahead and purchase the Blessed Sword for data collection and IC purposes.
- You might also want to go ahead and purchase the Bowstring, which is necessary to make the Hunting Bow. You should be able to make two Hunting Bows if you purchased to Eldarian Bows earlier on Aeos. Give one of the Hunting Bows to the shop owner of Reflected Moon to get the reward offered.
- The general store offers various ingredients, paints, and cards - with Lymle's Artistry skills, you can mix paints and cards to create Symbology cards with various effects. Symbology cards are usable items than anybody in your party can use.
- Now that you have four party members, raise everyone's IC skills and return to the Calnus to have some Invention Sessions. Afterwards, head back to the village and take the northwest or northeast exit.
- NOTE: Before you exit, examine the plowed fields to receive Basil, Blueberries, and Blackberries. The house in the southwest will let you rest for free and has a save point, so use it as needed.
Thalia Plains
- Monsters Encountered: Dryad, Lizard SOldier, Mist Grave, Peryton, Wise Lizardman
- Harvest Items: Bigberries, Common Egg, Gambleberries, Lemon, Nectar, Thornberries, Vegetables, White Rice
- Mining Items: Crystal, Darkness Gem, Earth Gem, Fire Gem, Ice Gem, Mercury, SIlver
- There are some new enemies here - it's recommended to get 100% analysis on Dryads before heading to the next area, as you can only find them here. Fight as many Perytons, Mist Graves, and Lizard Soldiers here as you can, also.
- Wise Lizardmen carry a smooth, curved sword, rather than the jagged sword of the Lizard Soldiers, and appear one monster per group, so you'll need to defeat several of them for 100% analysis.
- The bridge leading to the Van Elm region has an accessible Harvest Point and a Giant Fungus. When crossing the frozen lake, you can only run, but not dash - proceed with caution, because the Perytons will likely catch you unaware.
- There's a second Monster Jewel here, at the northern part of the map, between and above the middle two "holes". If you haven't used the first Monster Jewel yet, you can use it with one of the enemies from Lemuris for a good accessory. Save the game near the entrance to the citadel and examine the door.
1F
- As soon as you enter, white light surrounds Edge, and he'll learn the Healing Symbology. Look for the powered and non-powered blocks, note their locations, and search for Shining Stones to insert in the non-powered blocks.
- Start by activating the two blocks on the west side of the ground floor, and grab the items there also. The northwest door leads to Ramparts(A), and the northeast door leads to Ramparts(B).
- There are Stone Golems here, a new enemy type, which look worse than they are - they don't do that much damage, and are very slow. Be sure to use rear-attacks, as well as attempt 100% analysis on both the golems and the Kobolds, which will be very plentiful here.
- After you activate the two stone blocks, head back to the southern entrance to the citadel and look for stairs to the west - follow the path, activate the third stone block, then head through the corridor leading to four small rooms.
- You'll find a Treasure Sense here, which you can use on Lymle to be able to see the locations of all chests, Harvest Points, and Mining Points on the map. It's passive, so it's always active, and you'll never miss treasure again.
- Head back to the main path, and head north. Activate the last stone block in the west and take the door to Ramparts(A). Continue along the stairs to reach the second floor.
2F
- Collect the Guardian's Rapier to the southwest, then exit to the ramparts down south to reach a broken ledge with a chest on it. Head back to the main path and grab the items on the catwalks.
- After you finish checking the chests, head back to the first floor and insert Shining Stones into the non-powered blocks. Use the stairs in the southeast corner, and use another Shining Stone on the non-powered block there.
- Grab the Guardian's Armor in on of the eastern rooms, then return to the main path and activate the last stone block here to exit to the other side of Ramparts(B).
- Head to the eastern side of the second floor, and use the Recovery Sphere in the southeast room. Use the last two Shining Stones to activate the last two non-powered blocks due south, then use the elevator to reach the next floor and save your game.
BOSS FIGHT: Dragon Newt
- HP: 9563
- Resists: N/A
- Weak: N/A
- EXP: 19
- Fol: 178
- Drops: Lizardskin, Fire Gem, Attack Card, Support Card
- If you want to preserve your Bonus Board, you'll need to switch characters often during the fight. Dragon Newt's Rush Gauge charges quickly, so he'll be in Rush Mode the majority of the battle. Use Reimi, cast Focus, and order Faize and Lymle to stay back from the boss and cast offensive and healing SYmbols.
- Keep shooting from a distance, and land your special attacks in between - if its Rage Pointer zeroes in on your party leader, switch to a spellcaster and keep casting until it falls.
- This boss can counter Blindside attacks, so don't use them until you wait for the boss' target icon to start flashing. Perform Rush Combos when your Rush Gauge is full to end the fight quickly, but be sure to preserve the Bonus Board to reap the most reward for defeating Dragon Newt.
- After the battle, watch the cutscene, and then head north through the door. The chest in the southwest is protected by a holy barrier, so ignore it for now. Examine the POI on your map to trigger more cutscenes.
Van Elm Region - Woodley Village
- You'll wind up here after the cutscenes. Loot the chests nearby, and check the Harvest Points, but don't head too far away from the village yet. You need to head to the village first to continue the story, and then you can head around the remainder of the map for collecting items and enemy analysis.
- Enter the village and head to the house at the northwest edge of the area to trigger more cutscenes. Afterwards, you'll receive the Symbol Stone. There's more stuff to finish in the village before you continue, so be sure to check out the shops and complete the side quests.

- Orders:
- Fire Gem - 4 - 2400

- Grab the available items. There's a chest containing Fresh Sage X2 in one of the rooms in the inn, and an Anti-Stun Amulet in the weapon shop. If you talk to the Accommodating Woman in the southeast, you can obtain a free Hot Chocolate as well.
- You can't enter the general store until you complete a side quest, so let's go ahead and get all of the side quests out of the way first.
The Curious Kitty
- Talk to the Foolhardy Girl to learn that her cat(Sir Francis) has gone into the forest. You can do this while you accomplish your main quest, because the cat is along the same path you'll take anyway.
- After you find and talk to the cat, return to the village and talk to the Foolhardy Girl to receive 50 EXP and 32 PSP.
Pickpocketing
- You can begin pickpocketing in this area - you can pickpocket people, animals, and your team mates, though the later only while on the Calnus. Each of your party members has about 2/10 - 3/10 chance of catching you stealing; they don't react, but it will negatively affect their affinity towards you.
- To begin pickpocketing, buy the Pickpocketing manual from the bookstore and teach Edge the skill. Then, purchase Bandit's Gloves and equip him with them as a wrist accessory. To pickpocket, approach the mark and press B to attempt a theft. Success depends on Edge's Pickpocket skill level vs. the mark's Pickpocket resistence level, measured with 1 - 10. You can make multiple attempts, but they will only carry one item at a time. From this point forward, a pickpocketing list will be added throughout the walkthrough.
Pickpocket List - Woodley Village
- Village Weather Forecaster: Gambleberries
- Elmirre, Oracle Aspirant: Magic Bracelet
- Ultimate Master's Grandchild: Frozen Cinder
- Nerve-Wrecked Mother: Vinegar
- Hyperactive Kid: Attack Card
- Outdoor-Loving Cat: Basil
- Storehouse Worker: Ripe Berries
- Shy Boy: Hot Chocolate
- Accommodating Woman: 642 Fol
- Lutea: Fire Gem
- Lutea's Mother: Bigberries
- Foolhardy Girl: Lacquer
- Sir Francis, Curious Cat: Anti-Poison Amulet
Return to Triom
- Buy a lot of IC ingredients, like Iron to create new weapons and armor, etc. You'll want to talk to the weather forecaster near the western exit to learn that you need a Faerie Orchid to pass through the illusion obstacles in the Silent Forest.
- To find the Orchid, exit the village and head to the southernmost tip of the area.
Van Elm Region
- Monsters Encountered: Apprentice Scumbag, Giant Fungus, Horned Turtle, Kobold, Mana Yeti, Man-Eating Tree, Mist Grave, Stone Golem
- Harvest Items: Bigberries, Bizarre Fruit, Blackberries, Caterpillar Fungus, Ebony, Gambleberries, Ginseng, Fresh Sage, Lacquer, Lemon, Nectar, Protection Seeds, Ripe Berries, Tasty Mushroom, Wooden Stick
- Mining Items: Crystal, Darkness Gem, Earth Gem, Fire Gem, Ice Gem, Mercury, Silver
- There's lots of new enemies here - take an hour or two and get them 100% analyzed if you like. A neat trick is to allow the enemies like Horned Turtles, Mana Yeti, and Stone Golems surprise you from behind - you'll increase the chance that you'll encounter two of them in a group instead of just one. This speeds up the analysis time.
- After you max out the analysis of the monsters here, you might want to transfer the data for the Horned Turtle or Apprentice Scumbag to a Monster Jewel for an accessory - the Hornted Turtle boosts your Guard by 40, and the Scumbag lets you earn +15% more Fol after every battle.
- The Faerie Orchid is located in the southernmost tip of this area, and Sir Francis the cat(if you haven't already talked to him) can be found in the middle of the Silent Forest. Talk to the cat and return to the village after you collect the Faerie Orchid to rest and collect your reward, then head back to Thalia Plains, and from there, head to Triom Village.
Triom Village II
- Talk to Ghimdo, and you'll be told to go to Wind Swallow Valley, as well as receive the Fire Ring after a few cutscenes. The ring has no charge, so talk to the Shady Sorceress standing by a tree to have it recharged for no cost.
- After the first recharge, you'll have to pay 800 Fol for each recharge afterwards. Check the frozen chest to the southeast of the village and press B to melt the ice and obtain the Recipe Memo 02 (Earthsoul Bow).
- Try to complete as many orders in the shops as possible, as they'll be closed later in the storyline. Return to the Calnus and create as many items as possible, as well as watch another scene with Welch.
- Level up your IC skills and hold Invention Sessions until your team can't come up with any new items. You should also craft the Flame Sword if you haven't already, as well as the Iron Saber and Earthsoul Bow for Faize and Reimi, respectively.
- Rest up, save your game, and steal a Monster Jewel from Faize. While you're here, pickpocket in town to get some items as well. After you pickpocket the villagers, head to the frozen lake in Thalia Plains and use the eastern exit.
Pickpocket List - Triom Village
- Iron-Willed Man: Anti-Stun Amulet
- Minuit, Devout Man's Cat: Tasty Mushroom
- Devout Man: Vile Goop
- Obstinate Woman: Empty Bottle
- Spoiled Boy: Blueberries
- Shady Sorceress: Alchemist's Water
- Faithful Elder: Sacrificial Doll
- Faithful Youth: Sacrificial Doll
- Lonely Young Girl: 10 Fol
- Chilly Old Crone: Hot Chocolate
- Big-Hearted man: 1 Fol
- Ghimdo: 780 Fol
- Ever-Smiling Woman: 53 Fol
- Clever Cat: Lizardskin
Wind Swallow Valley
- Monsters Encountered: N/A
- Harvest Items: N/A
- Mining Items: Crystal, Darkness Gem, Earth Gem, Fire Gem, Ice Gem, Mercury, Silver
- Use the Fire Ring(B) to melt the ice blocking your path. The chest in the northern part of the ship is accessed after you enter the ship, so ignore it for now. Follow the trail and it will lead you to the entrance to the Celestial Ship.
Celestial Ship
- Monsters Encountered: Dragon Newt, Harpyia, Lizard Commander, Lizard Soldier, Saber-Toothed Tiger, Wise Lizardman
- Harvest Items: N/A
- Mining Items: N/A
- The Lizard Commander takes a bit to fully analyze - like the Wise Lizardman, it only appears once per group. Unlike the Wise Lizardman, it only appears in six specific areas in the ship. You can tell the difference between them and Lizard Soldiers by the fact that they wear darker armor and have a different mark on their heads.
- Enemies respawn if you exit and enter the ship, so you should use that to your advantage to get 100% analysis on the Lizard Commander. You need to complete the analysis before you defeat the boss of this area or you'll lose the chance to do so.
- There are electricity sparks that deal damage if you touch them, and frozen floors won't allow you to dash. There are locked doors inside the ship which you can break open by using the plastic explosives found throughout the ship's interior.
- There are eleven doors that can be blown open with explosions - most of the items on this map can only be obtained by forcing the doors open, and each door is worth 40 EXP and 5 PSP. After you place an explosive, shoot it with the Fire Ring to activate it, and be sure you are far enough away for safety.
- The main corridor in the middle of the map that leads back to Wind Swallow Valley also leads you to the chest you couldn't reach from there earlier, which contains a Blizzard Protector for Reimi. Dragon Newts become a common enemy here, and are available inside the 1F area.
- Head to the interactive point and examine the console to trigger a cutscene. Afterward, you'll receive the Cadianon Data Disc. Save your game, and enter the door here - you'll be in the midst of a three party ambush, giving you a chance to receive some green Bonus Board tiles.
- Use the recovery point, and defeat the Dragon Newt in the next room to access the chest and recovery sphere without further difficulty. Take the elevator up, and in the upper deck, grab the Fresh Sage X2 from the southwest and the Power Bracelet in the southeast corner.
- Save you game if you haven't yet, then head north. Turn of Faize's Ice Symbols and make sure Lymle has only the Healing and Fire Symbols activated. If you've created any stat-boosting dishes, feed your party, then examine the crystal to trigger the boss battle.
BOSS FIGHT: Barachiel
- HP: ???
- Resists: Earth, Ice
- Weak: Fire
- EXP: 833
- Fol: 2403
- Drops: Monster Jewel
- Barachiel is an airborne boss, making it difficult to hit. It absorbs Ice attacks, but is weak against Fire attacks - you'll have to rely on Lymle for offensive. If you have the Flame Sword equipped, you'll have an easier time in this battle. To preserve your Bonus Board and get the most benefit from defeating Barachiel, attack from long-range.
- Switch between Reimi, Faize and Lymle and heal, or manually spell cast as needed. Barachiel's attacks are difficult to avoid, so let the AI control Edge and be aggressive - change Edge's tactics to aggressive, using Chain and Rush combos. Perform Rush combos at every opportunity.
- If you took the time to get 100% analysis on all the new enemies you've encountered thus far, you'll be overleveled for this fight - focus on preserving your Bonus Board if this is the case, and you'll get some great benefits from defeating Barachiel.
- After you win the battle, head back to Triom Village. All of the Lizard enemies disappear after defeating Barachiel, so the trip back should be simple enough.
Triom Village III
- Watch the cutscenes, and the shops here on Lemuris will be closed. If you missed any of the orders from these two shops, you're out of luck. Lymle joins your party permanently, as well.
- Talk to the Shady Sorceress one more time and have your Fire Ring recharged for 800 Fol. After that's finished, return to the Calnus.
The Calnus
- Head to the flight deck to watch a cutscene, and you'll be able to access the Galactic Map now. There are two destinations available, Aeos and Cardianon. You can return to Aeos to complete some of the shop ordres and trigger a PA with Reimi.
- If you decide to go to Aeos, trigger the PA by talking to Captain Grafton and choose the "You knew, sir?" dialog option. Try to complete the shop orders here, because like on Lemuris, these shops won't stay open for much longer. There are also lots of people to pickpocket, some with great value:
Pickpocket List - Aeos Exploration Base
- Duncan, SRF-002 Crewman: Aquaberries
- Jakov, SRF-004 Crewman: Bigberries
- Jeter, SRF-004 Crewman: 230 Fol

Calnus Flight Deck
- When you're finished with all of the pickpocketing on Aeos and have completed the shop orders, head to Cardianon to continue the story.
- During the warp to Cardianon, talk to Reimi to receive a call. Before reaching Cardianon, you have the chance to trigger some PAs with your party members.
Flight Deck PAs
- Talk to Reimi, who's in the Recreational Room. Choose the "Your birthday, right?" dialog option.
- Talk to Lym in the Meeting Room, which will increase Lym's affinity to Faize and Edge.
- Examine the IC control panel to trigger a scene with Welch and Lym.
- Talk to Faize in the Recreational Room.
- Check out the Training Simulator in the Crew's Quarters.
- Return to the Recreational Room and talk to everyone.
- Once you finish talking to everyone, you'll receive confirmation that you've reached Cardianon. Save your game, and head to the Flight Deck to watch the cutscenes.
