Main Characters
Though Star Ocean: The Last Hope features a cast of more than 11 characters, four characters make up the core team that is likely to be the player's main party. The main character is Edge Maverick, a 20-year-old man from Earth. Edge is an honest person with a strong sense of justice and responsibility. In order to help save humanity, Edge volunteers for the very first mission to attempt to find hospitable planets other than Earth for humanity's future home. Though very smart, Edge can come off as reckless at times and has a tendency to jump the gun in many situations.
Reimi Saionji is a childhood friend of Edge and is also recruited to participate in the first voyage to find a new home for humanity. Reimi is an accomplished archer, having studied the weapon since a young age. Reimi is a kind, level-headed navigator, who is often hard on herself.
Faize Sheif A Beleth is a young man from the planet Eldar, who is also on a quest to explore planets outside his own. Faize is a highly skilled and focused character who even built his own spacecraft in order to explore the cosmos. He's extremely logical and level-headed and can often be harsh toward those who are less rational than he is.
Lymle Lemuri Phi is a young girl from the planet Lemuris. She's extremely skilled at symbology and summoning creatures. Lymle lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her grandfather, who pampered her. A certain incident in her past has caused her to close herself off from the world and speak like a child much younger than her real age.Official Site: Star Ocean: The Last Hope
