As a member of the famed Z-Boys crew, Peralta became the world's highest ranked professional skateboarder at the age of 19. Since his skateboarding heyday, Peralta has gone on to be an accomplished filmmaker and director. All of Peralta's films have been screened at the Sundance Film Festival the year they were released.
