Water Tours:St. Martin is an island in the Caribbean made up of two nations, France and the Netherlands Antilles. Its Caribbean location makes the island a great place for kayaking, snorkeling and fishing. Aqua Mania Adventures offers tours with most of those activities. You can experience the underwater habitat using your own equipment or theirs. They also have several boats that do deep sea fishing charters.
Atlantic Adventures is another water-tour specialist. Their boat, the "Seaworld Explorer", lets you take in the beauty of the coral reef, without having to actually get in the water. Through windows in the hull, riders can see the "paradise beneath the waves."
Land Tours: Aqua Mania Adventures also has shopping and sightseeing tours available. Bus tours run on Mondays and include a ride around the island and a narrator who gives riders the background on St. Martin's history and culture. If shopping is your thing, then try their shopping trips. For $8 per person a bus will take you to the "shopping paradise", Philipsburg. For a few dollars more the bus will take you over to the French side for a day of shopping at the West Indies Mall or the waterfront market.
