St. Lucia

St. Lucia is an island nation in the Lesser Antilles chain, north of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, with Martinique to the south. One of the Windward Islands, it is a popular tourist destination because of its tropical weather and beautiful beach resorts.

St. Lucia Culture

The island culture has been deeply influenced from African, French, and the English. Carnivals and festivals are year round on the island with the incorporation of popular folk dancing known as the Quadrille and music such as kompa and reggae.

Some popular attractions in St. Lucia include The Pitons which are two volcanic plus rising up from the sea, a volcano known as Sulfer Springs and the sulfur waterfall located at the St. Lucia Botanical Gardens.
