The St. Louis Cardinals are a professional baseball team that plays in the Central Division of the National League. In their franchise history, the Cardinals have won 10 World Series Championships, 17 National League Pennants, and 7 Central Division titles. The 2009 St. Louis won the National League Central Division and face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Divisional Series. The Dodgers took the first game 5-3.
