Squawkers McCaw

Squawkers McCaw is a full-sized animatronic toy parrot that interacts with users by repeating phrases, learning words and responding to touch.

Unlike some animatronic toys (such as Pleo and Kota the Triceratops), Squawkers may not boast the kind of sophisticated features that would peak the interest of an amateur robotics aficionado. However, the relatively inexpensive device does include a wide range of movement and interactive features. Squawkers comes pre-programmed with 40 different phrases, which he can be cued to speak—and he can be programmed (with the included remote control) to utter original phrases. When music is played, Squawkers reacts by dancing, and he can be made to sing as well.
