Spring training is the preseason of Major League Baseball. Spring training allows players to try out for major league rosters and gives established players practice time before the start of the regular season. All the major league teams are divided into two leagues. These leagues are the Grapefruit League (playing in Florida) and the Cactus League (playing in Arizona). All statistics and standings are not counted toward the regular season.
