Spring Break is usually held during the last weeks of March and sometimes into the first weeks of April, depending on school schedules. For most of the college crowd, Spring Break means sun, beaches and endless amounts of partying.
  • Background

Some of the hottest Spring Break spots in the U.S. are located on the beaches of Florida. Around 200,000 college students flock to Daytona Beach each year and just as many to Panama City Beach and Key West. Other U.S. Spring Break Destinations that are quickly gaining popularity are Lake Tahoe, Lake Havasu City, Arizona and New York City. And if you want to party on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, but don't want to deal with the Mardi Gras crowd, Spring Break is the perfect opportunity to go there.

Mexico and the Caribbean are some other popular Spring Break Destinations. Try Cancun for a non-stop party. They are one of the "wildest spring break destinations around." If it's the island scene you're looking for, try the beaches of Jamaica or the islands of the Bahamas.
