Spork

Categories: Products | Kitchen | Etiquette
  • A spork is a piece of cutlery that combines a fork and a spoon. It features a shallow scoop with fork tines. A spork does not work well for items normally eaten with only a spoon, such as soup or a something that requires the tines to pick up, but work well for chunky, processed food that does not require cutting. Sporks have become popular in fast food restaurants, cafeterias and ready-made meals. Sporks are sometimes also known as "foons". They may be made of any material, including steel, wood, glass, and plastic. Plastic sporks are the most common, being convenient and disposable.
