  • Tribal stage, the third stage of Spore, begins with a small band of creatures who have just conquered the knowledge of tools and formed the first organized group on the planet. Divide labor to gather food, e.g., picking fruit, hunting, fishing, domesticating wild animals.

Food is the primary means of trade and is used to purchase tools and other tribal accessories. Learn to use the different available tools to conquer or ally with neighboring tribes. Once five tribes are either defeated or converted to allies, a civilization is formed on the continent and the next stage begins.
