Special weapons in Spore are upgrades, power-ups and tools you can equip to your spaceship to augment your powers with abilities. Examples include power beams capable of destroying planets in a single blast, tractor beams for abducting creatures, or the ability to fly through a black hole.Sporesite: Spore Discussion - Text Dump (List of Special Weapons) Some abilities are gained by earning money through missions, trading, and selling artifacts, and then trading for them with leaders, while most of the advanced weapons are unlocked through earning badges.
